Justice Collaborative Initiatives
Our initiatives include:
The Fair Punishment Project is fighting to end excessive punishments, fines, and conditions. The Project is a joint initiative of The Justice Collaborative and Harvard Law School’s Criminal Justice Institute.
In Justice Today is a national criminal justice news outlet producing compelling, original journalism and commentary. We spotlight stories that often go unreported in the national media—stories that both hold local officials accountable and situate their policy decisions within the broader national debate around criminal justice reform. We also seek out voices that often go unheard in the national media, including those directly impacted by the system, local advocates, people of color, and those that have a startling or innovative take on the criminal justice system. Our reporters maintain editorial independence and are fiercely committed to producing consistently rigorous, transparent, adversarial journalism.
The Justice Collaborative is a project of Tides Advocacy.
