Bilal Baydoun

Bilal Baydoun, advisor for the Justice Institute, is a policy advisor, communications strategist, and speechwriter based in Michigan. Previously, he served as a lead policy and communications advisor in the Michigan Attorney General’s office, supporting the Flint Water Crisis cases and the executive offices of the Solicitor General and Attorney General. Prior, he was a government innovation fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, providing performance improvement support to Illinois’s juvenile justice agency. Bilal also worked on foreign affairs at the Clinton Foundation, briefing former President Clinton on political and economic developments while supporting the Foundation’s global initiatives. Bilal is a first-gen college graduate, holding a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan Ford School, where he was the inaugural Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellow, and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan.
