Molly Gallivan, senior legal counsel, was a public defender in New York for over fifteen years prior to joining The Justice Collaborative. Molly started her career at Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Practice and, most recently, worked at Brooklyn Defender Services (BDS) as a senior trial attorney and supervising attorney. At BDS, Molly also trained senior trial lawyers transitioning to the most serious felony cases. Molly taught the Criminal Defense Clinic at Fordham University School of Law as a Visiting Clinical Associate Professor and teaches Fundamental Lawyering Skills and Trial Advocacy at Fordham. She has also taught continuing legal education courses on negotiation, cross-examination, and eyewitness identification. Molly is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Fordham University School of Law.
