ADVISOR, NATIONAL TEAM
Seanniece Bamiro, National Team Advisor, has worked on all levels of government advocating for policy change. Her experience includes coalition building, creating policy platforms, writing and advocating for legislation, progressive electoral campaigns, and community organizing. Prior to joining The Justice Collaborative, she was a Congressional Policy Fellow with the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center and the Office of Congresswoman Barbara Lee (CA-13) working to center the rights of Black and Brown people through political education and advocating for increased budget allocations for critical poverty alleviation, reproductive justice and re-entry programs. In 2020, she was awarded Prince Georges 40 under 40 for her on-going organizing and policy advocacy for police accountability in her community She obtained her BA in Political Science from UMBC and her MPP from the University of Maryland, College Park.
